Research Interests

I am interested in biomedical and neuroscientific innovations and its social implications. A strong focus lies on the historical analysis and the genesis of the rise of the life sciences. I am also interested in the tranformation of scientific knowledge from the context of discovery to other contexts and its consequences for both the scientific field and the knowledge acquirers. Furthermore, I aim to analyse the interrelation between science and society and intregrate these anaylses in social theory.
